Beyond the Body Shell

From the first post we understand that the body shell is nothing but matter that is ultimately defined as an emotional body. This is the highest body you can have when you look at the body holistically from the INSIDE. When our feelings are hurt it is not the Anatomical Physical (AP) body that is hurt, it is the subtle and gentle state of emotions that has been rattled with our Sensory Perception (SP) body and it shows through our AP body.

How we think and act are driven by sensory perceptions that guide the body to do what it needs to do. The results of actions performed by the body are beyond our control and we must learn to accept them.

But there is a fourth body that goes beyond the body shell – which is actually one that sits outside of what we see as our holistic body. We need to understand this body because it is through this body that dependency grows.

Dependency is the fundamental root to understanding why we express ourselves the way we do. When we are born we are physically attached to our mother until the umbilical cord is cut. Instantly we become dependent on our moms as the medium that looks over us, provides milk, and nurturing care. We also build dependency on fathers who show us certain tricks of a trade, strong support foundations as well as guidance. Nowadays we can say that these lanes are getting more and more blurred – but that even makes my point more relevant – that men have female characteristics in equal proportion to females having male characteristics. This male-female ying-yang inter-twine-ness exists through our lifetime – and exists with everyone whether we know it or not.

Bottom line is that we are never attached to a human body in the form of a shell that doesn’t have the ability to give us anything, but over-increasingly attached to bodies that give us something.

The biggest illusion that we have in life is that we get attached to the AP body thinking both the Energy Generating (EG) and SP bodies are part of it. But this is not true. This belief is created as this is what we see as a body but if you close you eyes it is not the body that you see – the only thing that exists is a feeling – in other words: sensations.

The illusion gets deeper over time as we get accustomed to the various bodies around us like our brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers and this reliance is what gets us in a bit of pickle. For example, in order for us to be uplifted we become dependent on an external AP body to help us – and this is the start of attachment. As the other body gives us upliftment in the form of motivational words or hugs we get drawn towards it. However, if there is no upliftment and we are in a state of suffering, we pull ourselves away.

So what is the point of all this gibberish? It’s this: In the totality of our life from birth to death, we are made to believe that only one Holistic Body exists as anatomy + energy + emotions which we believe to just be the AP body, but this is not the true as whatever drives the body to do what it needs to do is driven 100% OUTSIDE of the AP body, nothing from the inside.

Motivation to do something is never on the inside, it is always drawn from the outside. Upliftment is nothing that we can give to ourselves, it is something that is given by others.  We may think having purpose is something internal, but it is actually something derived from the outside. The reason that we have purpose is that something from the outside drives us to have this purpose, else there is no purpose

I know this as sensory perceptions such as seeing, hearing, feeling are all performed through an action from inside to outside of the body – and the result of what we feel is what drives us from the inside. It is only an interpretation of what see, hear, feel, touch that drives us to act the way that we do and create a series of emotions.

The single most significant state of these emotions is the point exactly in-between sadness and happiness, joy and sorrow, frustration and ectasy. It is difficult to say what this emotional state of is but it can be described with a series of words: acceptance, understanding, balance, satisfaction, and fullness – words that tetter neither through positive states of emotions nor negative states.

The AP body is the only body that can perform action (i.e., walking, typing, talking, etc.) – this is how the body is designed. Each body becomes what it is fed. Whether we know it, we feed each of the bodies in several ways.

We feed our AP bodies with food and water. If we feed ourselves high fat or carby foods, we become fat or tired.

We feed our EG body with those things that are given to us as an activity. If we walk fast, our heart rates goes up. If we have relaxed slow breathing, things are calm. And this begs the question – what feeds the Sensory Perception Body?

This is where things go a bit beyond the Holistic body. You may have heard of the word “extra-sensory”. This is understanding that the SP body straddles two spheres: 1. The AP body that it directs based on the emotional state it is in (e.g., an emotional state such as anger which creates a generating action such as a closing fist, and a physical anatomical action to strike) and 2. An external “conscious-driven energy stream” or energy cloud that provides the foundations of opinions, thoughts, beliefs, history, ancestry that can be obtained through a variety of sources (e.g, television, podcasts, people, radio, newspaper, etc.)

BTW, one of the premise of this blog is understanding how to control the EG body. Using the example above of anger, if the fist is close, how do you not strike or create violence? The answer is buried in many posts which I have written – but it resides in the holistic understanding that many things from the outside are just illusions driving the SP body to react – when in reality we can control everything.

It’s extremely difficult to describe what this energy stream really is but it is something on the outside of the AP body that makes us think a certain way based on the sensory-persceptions of the body that sense things on the outside. They are like tingling “spidey” senses where they understand the environment extremely well and can help you in danger or that gut feeling something isn’t right, or tiny skin bumps if something tickles you positively.

If the sensory perceptions are cut such as if you have a stroke, you are locked inside the body so depending on which side of the brain you suffered the stroke either motor or computational skills can be impacted but you are not acting holistically. The interaction with the “outside” world gets cut off and you are locked in the inside.

It is through the sensory organs of the ears, eyes, feet, hands, nose that perceptions take root. Without the sensory organs, the body remains a shell unable to perceive anything. So, the key takeaway here is that the body is something if there is something sensed, but nothing if there is nothing that can sensed. In other words, we know we exist, because we see sense our body.

Things start to get complicated when we start to associate the Body Shell – the AP body – as the very same thing as the SP body – but this is not true. Every body has a nose, eyes, ears, hands, etc that allows us to smell, see, touch, etc. BUT everything that is sensed is from the OUTSIDE not the INSIDE – and this why there is something beyond the body shell that drives us and this energy shell is ever present, ever changing, and ever living.

The very existence of humans is predicated on the ability of the human body to rationalize, make decisions, and calculate things. However, what we use is not the brain to rationalize, made decisions, and calculate but what we call the “mind.”

We believe the mind belongs to us, or does it? We know we have a brain as the anatomy book shows, but have we ever seen the mind? Has anyone ever drawn a picture of the mind? I haven’t seen one yet I know there is continuous chatter in the mind. The mind goes where we go. The mind never sits still. The brain is simply the tool that allows us to create the spark within to rationalize, decide, and compute. The brain does the work but the mind creates the result.

The key point here is that the mind is not part of the brain, but it drives the AP body, EG body, and SP body activities. The illusion is created when we believe the mind belongs to us as creates results that sometimes we fabricate and sometimes are delivered from external sources.

But wait – if we as humans can get our minds to fabricate some things, that would mean the result is untrue, right? – as fabrication means something created that is not tied to reality. This can only means that for something to be created that is true and real that it must be fabricated from a source that is pure, light and eternal and be non-manipulated, non-altered, and non-changing by what we believe our minds are telling us.
